Overnight Oat

Salam,

Oat? I pernah cakap dgn hubby, oat antara makanan paling buruk rasanya. Dah byk kali i try nak amalkan mkan oat, tp sudahnye oat tu jadi cookies jek la. Tak pun berlapuk macam tu jek. As you know, oat ni banyak khasiatnye. Makanan berkhasiat mmg tak sedap. Tp kalau makanan menggemukkan, ofkos la sedap kan. Choc lava cake, Red velvet, garrett popcorn, fuhhh kira kalori and kolestrol cepat.

Oat mempunyai kadar serat yang tinggi dan mampu membantu memperlahankan kadar penghadaman. Yg penting, oat ada beta-glukan yg boleh menurunkan kadar kolesterol dalam badan. Kolesterol ni jahat ye. Kolesterol ni tak kira kurus or gemuk. Kolesterol tak menyakitkan tapi tiba2 boleh menyebabkan kesakitan yg kritikal. Sakit jantung. Masa I admit hospital hari tu, doc cek kolestrol I, cholesterol level I mmg quite tgi. Pastu kena la bebel2 dgn doc dan doc advise makan oat. Cholesterol ada bad and good cholesterol. Then I start study recipe2 yg related dgn oat, and finally I found overnight oat. Slalunya I makan oat bancuh dgn susu or milo jek. Mmg jemu, nk termuntah2 habiskan secawan. Style makan kumam dalam mulut banyak2, pastu telan, pastu buat gaya mcm nak termuntah. Tp after blaja pasal overnight oat, hari2 rasa tak sabar nak try new recipe. Try and error pun boleh. Yang penting, sukatanya 1/3 oat, 2/3 liquid. nak sedap, tambah fresh fruit or any topping. The reason is, nanti oat tu mengembang dan akan serap liquid tu. Ha tgk picture2 ni, sedapkan. I takde buat deco2 macam ni pun. Masukkan dalam Tupperware biasa jek. Tu sebab takde gambar. hahahha

Few recipes yg I pernah buat;

Mango banana oat

1/3 cup oat
2/3 banana + mango blended juice
few raisins
few coconut cookies
topping - slice banana

Chocolate oat

1/3 cup oat
2/3 cup milo bancuh pekat2
almond
nutella

Yogurt mix fruit oat

1/3 cup oat
1/3 yogurt mix berries
1/3 HL milk
Fitness fruit cereal

Ni jenis apa ada kat rumah, campak jek. Balance2 almond slice utk buat cookies tahun lepas pun campak jek. dan rasanya, super awesome sedap. baru la tak loya nak makan. For more recipes, boleh refer sini: Oat recipes

TQ so much for this entry. Masa nak beli oat memang semangat nak makan. Tapi end up memang x pernah habis pon... paling kuat nak abiskan buat gorang ayam. huhuhuhu... boleh try resepi ni :-)
